Andy Roberts

In 2005, owner and head trainer Andy Roberts launched the business Positive Lifestyle Training. His aim was to provide a safe, practical and high quality personal training service for the people of Perth, Western Australia. Andy has since acquired a huge amount of experience and success, training a range of people from sedentary adults, Pre and post pregnancy mothers, busy executives, elite sports people and teams, world class performers, and so on.

Andy has studied a Bachelor of Sports Science at Edith Cowan University, along with many other qualifications over the years and is constantly on top of the latest fitness trends, education and innovative training techniques.

His positive attitude and passion for health and fitness is evident through his own active lifestyle, whether training for triathlons, marathons, adventure races, Rottnest swims or cross training he is always inspiring clients to train towards their own individual passions and goals.

Andy is part of the West Coast Eagles football club in the capacity of match day runner. Through this role he is privy to the latest fitness and Sports science methods used by world class practitioners.

Consequently, Andy has a high reputation for achieving results and has a friendly energetic persona.

 

Ceinwen Roberts

Ceinwen has been enjoying professional success in the health and fitness industry for well over a decade.

Initially having worked in the Corporate Health Industry for 3 years, she has transitioned in to becoming one of the most sought after health professionals and swim coaches in Western Australia. She has worked with Positive Lifestyle Training since 2005 and has developed a very loyal and wide ranging client base.

Ceinwen has a Bachelor of Science at UWA in Human Movement and Post Graduate Diploma in Population Health. Ceinwen loves to use her own experiences in long distance swimming (See achievements), triathlons, adventure racing and running to help encourage and motivate others to achieve things they never thought possible. She has a great deal of enthusiasm and empathy and makes the training classes fun, varied and satisfying. Ceinwen loves helping people to make exercise part of their everyday life.

 

Don Bull

Don has been a personal trainer with Positive Lifestyle Training since 2011, after commencing study at the Australian Institute of Fitness the year prior.

Don has an extensive sporting background, most notably as part of the inaugural Western Sydney Giants AFL football team intake of 2010.

It was there Don got to work with some extremely influential fitness professionals and has consequently discovered a huge passion for applying cutting edge fitness concepts in his work as a personal trainer. Don doesn’t rest until he sees his clients achieve their goals and drums in, dedication, hard work, fun and goal setting as the key to success.

His personal training skills and drills are entertaining, creative and designed to achieve maximum results.

 

Matthew Browne

Matt Browne has always lived an active healthy lifestyle. Having grown up in a very health conscious family, his passion for exercise started early. His main passions to this day are AFL football, tennis and sailing along with competing and being involved in many community fitness events.

Matt has a passion to help others and states, “I enjoy being a mobile fitness trainer due to the active, outdoor lifestyle and also the opportunity to make a difference and help others achieve their health and fitness goals, whatever they may be”

Since completing his certification at the AIS to become a personal trainer, Matt has worked as a personal trainer for Zest, conducted Aqua Aerobics classes at Claremont Aquatic and Bold Park and has now been with Positive Lifestyle Training since 2011. Matt is constantly looking to improve his skills and provide an even better service.

Kalen Coughlan

A career in health and fitness has always been on the cards for Kalen. Having been a very physically active person his whole life, he knew all along a career in the health and fitness industry was for him. Kalen now dedicates himself to his clients and gaining further knowledge and experience to help clients through the whole process to attaining their individual goals.

 

After graduating from Scotch College in 2012, he received an early acceptance to study a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Notre Dame. After completing this he also enrolled in a Certificate III and IV in fitness to further his knowledge and experience.

 

“I love being a personal trainer with PLT, (and) being able to help inspire and make a difference to individual’s lifestyles is truly rewarding. I particularly like seeing changes in mindset and seeing people shift from a negative mindset to positive one. Once this is achieved there is no stopping them with regard to their improvement and health and fitness achievements. I too get a sense of achievement when I see client reach their goals and there is no better feeling”.
